#Programme: Cuatro al día. CuatroTV

This new programme premiered last February on Cuatro. A programme that tackles current affairs in a friendly way, and which Mediaset has opted for in its afternoons.
Months before the premiere, a great deal of expectation revolved around the grandeur of its new set and the means with which it would be able to offer all the latest news. In January, the channel presented the first details of the new news programme, directed by journalist Carmen Chaparro. The presenter mentioned in the first preview, before the premiere, the spectacular LED screen they would be using
“This big screen will take us to the centre of the news. Our team, at street level, in the sun, in the snow, in the rain” announced Chaparro, pointing to a large screen behind her.

With this type of screen, the Cuatro al día programme shows videos, introduces stories, creates live connections through its screen with synchronous and asynchronous communication. This type of modular technology provides design, as well as endless possibilities, without forgetting the brightness and its high resolution. It provides an optimal image, without reflections (as it could happen with LCD screens) and that respects the colors to the maximum degree.

#Programme: The Voice. Antena 3

This is another example where the TV set has taken on great importance. When Atresmedia bought La Voz, it planned a deployment of means and variations to differentiate itself from the rival channel, where this programme was before, and to associate itself with Antena 3.

For this, it placed some coaches with great musical careers, such as Antonio Orozco, Pablo López, Luis Fonsi and Paulina Rubio. It also opted for the recovery of its emblematic theatre located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, which has more than 2,000 square metres in which to give La Voz that international character. This studio was created in the nineties to house the programme Sorpresa, Sorpresa, directed by Isabel Gemio, which was a boom. But not only that, Atresmedia had a broad vision with the construction of this studio, as it wanted a versatile and grandiose place that would be associated with the Antena 3 brand. Its grand staircase gives it great majesty; in fact, series such as Velvet have also been filmed in this studio. In order to house the programme La Voz in this large studio, the set has been redesigned, opting for circular shapes for the main stage and giving prominence to the ‘V’ in the logo, one of the format’s hallmarks. In addition, this talent show has been given great prominence in the audiovisual part. A large acoustic equipment, used by the big American productions, has been installed. And of course a large Full Color LED screen with 5 million pixels, which means 130m2 and a colourful set. For this type of set, rental screens are usually used with a very small pixel pitch for the best possible resolution, and this type of full colour screen is very easy to assemble and dismantle.

#Programme: Got Talent Spain. Telecinco

This talent show format has also opted for a great deployment of audiovisual media.

This latest edition of Got Talent has moved from the Teatro Coliseum in Madrid to the Teatro Victoria in Barcelona. Although it retains its design and its different giant screens to offer a staging worthy of a talent show of this magnitude. However, during the casting phase, this giant screen, placed behind the contestants, had the programme’s big logo.

For the live shows, this LED screen was used for advertising to offer a show that was elevated to the sublime. For each talent, different videos or images were displayed on the LED screen, which were in line with the show and helped to enhance the staging.

#Programme: Volverte a ver. Telecinco

This Mediaset programme is particularly interesting in terms of the set, as all the protagonism during the course of the programme is perfectly focused on three points:
  • The presenter Carlos Sobera
  • The protagonists of the story
  • The large LED screen that opens in two halves.

This large curved screen offers synchronous and asynchronous content depending on the moment. On this screen you see the video of people telling their stories, but it also becomes a screen with in situ content where one of the protagonists talks to the person on the other side of the screen. At a certain point it is time for the reunion. It is at this moment that the LED screen rises to its maximum splendour, splitting into two halves to make way for the reunion.
If you notice, more and more sets are introducing the latest technology to offer their viewers added value in content consumption, with optimal images, live connections, split screens, high resolution and contrast or in some cases even full colour screen movement.
